Why am I enthusiastic about the software engineering world?

Because to me software engineering means a constant state of learning and discovering new things, or maybe even inventing new things.
While there already are a huge number of solutions, there is an even greater number of problems that still await a solution. Finding these and optimizing existing solutions is always a challenge and thus never gets boring.
